Product Description

The Bacterial EV ELISA Kit captures extracellular vesicles (EVs) on the plate surface by utilizing their negatively charged membranes. By employing an anti-LTA (lipoteichoic acid) antibody for EVs derived from Gram-positive bacteria, this kit enables the relative quantification of microbial EVs without the need for expensive instrumentation.

If the sample contains a high concentration of salt, EVs may not be captured on the plate.
Before use, perform buffer exchange or dilute the sample with phosphate buffer or a similar buffer so that the salt concentration is 150 mM or less.
