N-Histofine® Simple Stain™ AP (R) belongs to a family of immunohistochemical detection systems (from Nichirei Biosciences) designed to enhance staining of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissue sections. It deploys Nichirei Bio’s patented Universal Immuno-enzyme Polymer (UIP) technology that combines amino acid polymers with alkaline phosphatase (AP) and secondary antibodies reduced to Fab’ fragments. To eliminate background staining, secondary antibodies undergo solid-phase adsorption with human serum. Simple Stain™ AP comes in versions optimized for use with primary antibodies from mouse (M), rabbit (R), goat (G) and both mouse and rabbit (MULTI).
