Product Description

This kit has been developed as a research reagent for the detection of specific subtypic determinants—d, y, r, and w—in hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg)-positive samples, facilitating the identification of HBsAg subtypes such as adr, adw, ayr, and ayw. Detection of these subtypic determinants is based on a solid-phase sandwich enzyme immunoassay (EIA). The microplate, consisting of 96 wells, is coated with monoclonal antibodies targeting the common determinant "a" of HBsAg. HBsAg present in the samples is captured on the solid phase, and the respective subtypic determinant—d, y, r, or w—is subsequently detected using peroxidase-labeled monoclonal antibodies specific to each determinant. This assay enables the determination of HBsAg subtypes in serum or plasma samples with high specificity and reliability.
