Product Description
Hyaluronic acid is a glycosaminoglycan composed of glucuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine, and is abundantly found in synovial fluid, skin, umbilical cord, and the vitreous body. This product is prepared according to the method of Ogamo *et al.*¹), in which fluoresceinamine is introduced into the carboxyl groups of the glucuronic acid residues.
Each vial contains 1 mg (T2-1) or 3 mg (T2) of lyophilized fluoresceinamine-labeled hyaluronic acid (FAHA). The average molecular weight is 20,000–30,000 Da. The excitation wavelength is 485–500 nm, and the fluorescence emission wavelength is 510–525 nm.
