Centrifuge tubes can be used for a wide variety of purposes including cellular segregation, nucleic acid extract, and storage of samples.
Autoclavable for 20 minutes at 121℃.
The TPX in the TPX Centrifuge Tubes is a transparent material resistant to organic solvent and useful for distinguishing between liquid and liquid surface when extracting phenol/chloroform.
Cautions
Please make sure to loosen the cap of the centrifuge tubes when autoclaving.
If the cap is closed completely, the cap and tube will no longer fit correctly after autoclaving.
Keep centrifuge tubes away from a metal rack when autoclaving.
If centrifuge tubes are in contact with metal while being autoclaved, they will be deformed.
Do not use Centrifuge Tubes for phenol / chloroform extraction for more than one hour.
