CD147 is a transmembrane glycoprotein that is highly expressed on the surface of tumor cells. It stimulates fibroblasts to produce a variety of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), thereby promoting tumor invasion, metastasis, and tumor-induced angiogenesis.
Accumulating evidence has demonstrated that CD147 expression influences tumor progression and prognosis, suggesting its potential as an important tumor biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis, as well as a promising therapeutic target.
This product is a two-step sandwich ELISA kit that quantitatively detects CD147 using two high-performance monoclonal antibodies against the extracellular domain of CD147.
