Adipose/bone marrow-derived MSCs

Mesenchymal stem cells (stromal cells)

Adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells (stromal cells) (AMSC / ASC: Adipose Delivered Mesenchymal Stem Cells / Adipose Delivered Stromal Cells) and bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (stromal cells) (BMSC / BSC: Bone-marrow) Delivered Mesenchymal Stem Cells / Bone-marrow Stromal Cells). It is useful for experiments on adipose/cartilage differentiation potential in mesenchymal stem cell research.

Subcutaneous adipose-derived mesenchymal stem (stromal) cells (product numbers: MSA01C, MSA11C) are mesenchymal stem (stromal) cells that have been subcultured (2 passages) from a group of cells isolated from the subcutaneous adipose tissue of adult SD rats and ICR mice. Stem (stromal) cells. Please use as a set with dedicated growth medium and supplements for medium addition.

Bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem (stromal) cells (product number: MSB01C) are cells obtained by passage (passage 1) the BMSC fraction from a cell group isolated from SD rat bone marrow. Please use as a set with dedicated growth medium and supplements for medium addition.

Background

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSC), a kind of somatic stem cells, can be isolated from adipose tissue, bone marrow, umbilical cord, dental pulp, etc. In 2006, Dominici et al. reported that human mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) (1) adhere to plastic culture vessels, (2) CD105, CD73, CD90 as positive markers, CD45, CD34, CD14, CD11b, CD79a, CD19, HLA - Class II (DR) as a negative marker, and (3) ability to differentiate into bone, fat, and cartilage. In addition to their excellent self-proliferative properties, MSCs have the ability to differentiate into not only bone, cartilage, and fat, but also liver, etc. They do not express MHC Class-II, have immunoregulatory functions, accumulate at diseased sites, and act in various ways. It is known to have excellent characteristics such as the secretion of cytokines and growth factors and the effect of promoting tissue regeneration and repair.
