E-RDF Medium is a basic synthetic serum-free medium for culture of  human and mouse hybridoma cell lines including for example,  NS-1, MPC-11, MCB-1. Well suited for monoclonal antibody production by high density, large scale culture. Contact us for customized formulations. Product Cat. No. KYO-26500 contains sufficient material to prepare 10 Liters of medium.

E-RDF Medium is an improved, "Enriched" version of RDF medium ( RPMI 1640:DMEM:HAMF12, (2:1:1))

Storage conditions: Dark place / moisture proof, 2-10 ℃
Validity period: 2 years

Preparation of E-RDF Medium (for 1 Liter)
(1) Dissolve 17.7 g of E-RDF Medium powder in approximately 800 mL of ultrapure water.
(2) Add 1,130 mg sodium hydrogen carbonate, dissolve and adjust volume to 1000 mL.
(3) Immediately sterilize the prepared medium solution in a sterilized medium bottle with a membrane filter (0.22 μm).
(4) Please use immediately after preparing the medium. When storing, please store under refrigerated conditions.
(5) When using, aseptically add the additive RD-1 as necessary before use.

If desired, "RD-1 Supplement for E-RDF Medium" (#KYO-20300) is also available. RD-1 Supplement for E-RDF Medium contains:
Insulin: 5 mg/L
Transferrin: 10 mg/L
Ethanolamine: 1.53 mg/L
Sodium selenite: (non-medicinal toxicant) 0.0043 mg/L
