About SIEVEWELL™

At the heart of Sievewell is an ultra-high density, optically transparent membrane array of cell sized, cell culture-friendly wells precision manufactured by photolithography. Each well contains 2 pores through which fluid can pass. Due to SIEVEWELL's unique design, suction applied through Sievewell’s fluid aspiration ports (with a hand pipette) creates a downward flow. This innovative design enables:

  • Single cell per well capture rates significantly higher than by gravity alone
  • At-will fluid exchange with downward flow working to keep cells in place. Ideal for cell washing, staining, and other treatment to cells.
  • Simple optical observation, imaging and evaluation.
