AteloGene
AteloGene in vivo siRNA Transfection Kits
systemic injection
for systemic injection - atelocollagen / siRNA complexes remain solublefollowing i.v. administration.

Simple to use atelocollagen-based kits for the efficient introduction
and uptake of siRNA into live animals.
(kits for systemic and localized injection)

Appropriate mixing of atelocollagen (the major component of AteloGene™) and siRNA forms biocompatible complexes with properties well suited for the sustained delivery and cellular uptake of siRNA in live animals. Complete with atelocollagen, buffers, mixing syringes, and injection syringes, Atelogene in vivo siRNA transfection kits are designed for the convenient preparation and injection of of siRNA / atelocollagen complexes to simplify in vivo siRNA delivery for in vivo gene silencing, in vivo gene suppression, and in vivo protein knockdown experiments.
localized injection
for localized injection - atelocollagen / siRNA complexes gelate in vivo to remain at injection site.

Immediate administration to experimental animals by simple mixing the synthetic siRNA with AteloGene™
Efficient in vivo transfection of siRNA.
The effect of RNAi of preventing degradation by RNase persists for a long time.
AteloGene™” has no toxicity, and its main component is atelocollagen that demonstrates high biological compatibility.
It is possible to choose “AteloGene™ Local Use” for local administration or “AteloGene™ Systemic Use” for systemic administration by injection to the tail vein
Since “AteloGene™ Local Use” for local administration is gelated in the body, siRNA is securely kept at the administration site
Since “AteloGene™ Systemic Use ” for systemic administration is not gelated in the body but circulated in the blood after injection into the tail vein, siRNA is efficiently delivered to the whole body
Since “AteloGene™ Systemic Use ” for systemic administration is not gelated in the body but circulated in the blood after injection into the tail vein, siRNA is efficiently delivered to the whole body
What is atelocollagenCharacteristics of Atelocollagen FAQ
Atelocollagen is a highly purified type I collagen of calf dermis with protease treatment. A collagen molecule has an amino acid sequence called a telopeptide at both N and C termini, which confers most of the collagen’s antigenicity. Atelocollagen obtained by protease treatment is low in immunogenicity because it is free from telopeptides.
