The presence of tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP) is widely used as marker of osteoclast cells, whose main activities include bone resorption. The TRAP Staining Kit is designed for the convenient detection of TRAP in cultured cells grown in 96 well plates, either by microscopic inspection of formalin-fixed cells or by measuring the OD 450 of cell culture supernatants. Contains sufficient tartrate containing buffer and chromogenic substrate solutions for processing ten 96 well plates. |
Alkaline phosphatase is a hydrolase enzyme commonly used as a marker for osteoblast cells. The Alkaline Phosphatase Staining Kit allows for in vitro quanitative determination of alkaline phosphatase in the media of cultured cells in a 12 well plate format. Alkaline phosphate is detected by direct addition of a chromogenic substrate to cultured cells and microscopic inspection . Each kit contains reagents for assaying ten 12 well plates. |
